I have played both... I believe that Blue Dragon to be the better game. I think Lost Odyssey was a solid 7.5 out of 10 and Blue Dragon was a solid 9 out of 10. I will play Blue Dragon again... it has a higher replay value. I doubt I will play Lost Odyssey again. -

They are both on sale and I am nearing the end of LO - it's been absolutely epic through BC.
Should I get BD? Will it be a let down or will it be great but.... end up in gamepass before I even get to it?

Registered 14 years agoLost Odyssey is good, Blue Dragon is a pile of shite. So much so that some of the monsters are literal piles of shite.
LO is a decent homage to PS1 era Final Fantasy.
BD is a poor imitation of Dragon Quest. -

If you have not played DQVIII play that instead of BD. They are similar but DQVIII is superior in every way. -
