I think I put about 50 hours or so into Blue Dragon. |

Funnily enough, Blue Dragon is one of only a few games I have 1000/1000 gamerpoints on.
What!? How?
I found most of them really difficult to get, so ended with only a few and a mere 50 points or so. -

Some of the fights on the second run were awesome though (shit, shut up Psychotext). King Poo ftw (wait, did I say that?).
Oh that's right, you fight poo in Blue Dragon. -

Registered 15 years agoYeah, I usually do in JRPGs where the option exists.
It also helped that when you get the bubble you can just leave the console on and stand there killing enemies automatically. -
Christ, Lost Odyssey by fucking miles. -

I think my Blue Dragon time was even longer than that... mostly by virtue of the fact that half the time I wasn't even playing it whilst it was on. \o/
Psychotext doesn't think much of the game but put about 80 hours or more into it?
maybe theJRPG world is too scary for me -

Registered 15 years agoYup, I just looked... 130 hours.
Oh and if you do play it, ultra hard mod ftw. Don't need to worry about that for Lost Odyssey though as it's not for pussies. -
I have to admit I prefer Blue Dragon but I was into Dragon Ball aesthetics back in the day, not only in the design but also conceptualy. So Blue Dragon biased, from day one.
Oh, and I got 1000 on it, it was mental. Especially "All Items" and "All Monsters". -

Registered 15 years agoIf I was to pic purely on visuals, it'd be Blue Dragon. Still arguably one of the best looking JRPGs I've ever played. Possibly one of the best looking games generally. -

Registered 14 years agoOh my goodness, Psycho likes the game less than I do, but has spent 30 hours more than I have, on the game. He has also got 1000 in that game? Wowser. I have less than 400. Why is it that I am championing that game and you are poo-pooing it? -
There are problems with LO's disc 4. I had to replace mine at the store as well.
Regarding challenges, if you guys do want a challenge, play LO's DLC. You've been warned though. -

Because I've spent enough time with it that all of the niggles become game snappingly bad.

I agree with this - I played through it again about 3 months ago and its still one of the best looking games out -
That's weird, because I thought it was pretty ugly. Then again, I can't stand Toriyama's art. -

Eternal Sonata is in a similar style and much prettier, imho. Although the game itself is bollocks. -

Registered 15 years agoES has very pretty bits, but I still prefer the art of Blue Dragon. -
I've been thinking about starting ES for a while now. Btw, Last Remnant gave me major kicks, is very, very hardcorish. Not hard though, just requires some serious comitement. -

But seriously. It's so colourful and rounded. I love how it looks. -
Are we still talking about the bosoms? -
This shouldn't be any kind of argument...Lost Odyssey all the way! -

Hehe, I was hoping it had some crossover.

That said, Lost Odyssey has breasts so detailed that they have veins.
