Well that looks absolutely amazing. I was planning on getting Sonic Colours as my Christmas game, but depending on the reviews I may have to go for this. Stunning.

To be honest, making a dark, edgy and gritty Mickey Mouse game sound like a parody of the recent tendency to make every-fucking-thing dark, edgy and gritty.

This looks really nice...

One thing though that always gets me when it comes to screenshots from Wii games : They always look so nice 'n' crispy - watching the exact same game on your Telly though is a completely different matter

Don't know lads, i really want to get a Wii this Xmas for Mickey, Madworld, No more Heroes etc but coming from an Xbox360 and PS3 i'm afraid that the Wii will make a pretty bad impression, no ?
I'm gaming on big telly so that's going to make matters even worse.

What to do, what to do...

I dunno, I play my PC games through a big telly and they look awesome, but I dont mind going back to the wii at all if the game is good enough.

This is one game I am probably going to wait for reviews first, Im not so sure if the way the game plays will be all that great. Hopefully it will be

If you consider yourself to be a shallow and supercilious person then the Wii with it's low res visuals isn't going to cut it for you. However, if the thought of jaggies doesn't bring you out in a rash, then go for it.

Run it through a component cable and it looks fine - it's not cutting edge it the graphics department, but it doesn't look bad, and everything you want has a very stylised art design anyway.

Owning both a wii and 360 i have no problems switching from one to another, its all about the games buddy! If you think the wii has no wow factor just whack in mario galaxy!

I think you would be surprised by how well most good Wii games end up looking even on an LCD.

Dont get me wrong, I am not saying they are HD console comparable but the best games on the system (SMG1, 2, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, NSMBwii, Donkey Kong Country, this etc) end up looking pretty good. Mostly cause they depend on art style rather than realism to look good.

Jaggies might be a bother if you are one of those guys. But TBH I never really find that a big deal.

The extended trial version appears to be out. Expect opinions aplenty spewing forth all over the web from people pretending that shopto have sent it out early.

Uhh. I just watched the characters vid. I feel a little heathen just for saying it, but I've lost about 80% of my interest now that I know virtually none of the Disney characters I recognise will be in it.

Anyone got their hands on this yet?

Out this week isn't it? it's my birthday on Tuesday so I've requested it thusly however I have taken a "sneak peek" at it last night as I just couldn't bloody wait(bold I know). Seems very entertaining from the 30 - 40 mins I played, I also get the impression that it's enormous.

Mechanics and effects for painting/thinning very good. Art/Animation is fantastic. The only thing is the painting can be slightly innaccurate on occasion and its a little fiddly to target bad guys at times.

I feel the two issues above relate to the slightly stiff camera controls which are more a symptom of the Wii controller than a fault of the developer imo. Anywho can't wait to get stuck into this more.

I would also add i think my points are sligthly nitpicking and I get the feeling this game will be scoring 9+ across the board... but maybe thats the Disney fanboy in me giving auto +1's all over the shop.
