Datel have delayed it again. Frankly, even if or when it comes out eventually, I'm not going to buy it. Or at least not immediately. This four-month-delay-in-small-increments history is not filling me with a whole lot of confidence about Freeloader's quality. It's going to need some rave reviews before I decide.

Something to do with getting the discs duplicated was what I heard. You need a Nintendo licence to get them made and of course Nintendo don't really want you using something like this. It always sounded rather too good to be true on a technical level to me anyway...

By the time it comes out (if it comes out before christmas) the only game left to import will be Metroid, and japanese Zelda

I spoke to DATEL last week, and they still had it down as a NOVEMBER 15 release. Dunno if this has changed in the last week though.

It's a disc you shove in your console and it lets you play games from all regions. There was one for the DC and PSX as well I believe.

I think the one for the DC acted like a boot disc and meant you could play copied games as well.
