Had a bit of a rush of blood to the head over the last couple of days, and pre-ordered both Chronicles of Riddick and Black Arrow from Simply Games.

What's anyone on here's experience of them?

Used them once so far. For Richard Burns Rally. Cost £27 on Xbox and arrived on the Monday before the Friday Street Date. So very happy with that.
Seriously? That's absolutely top! Hope I get such prompt service next week.

The prices seem like the most competitive around as well - £27.99 for Riddick and £14.79 for RS3:BA seemed very cheap, especially with no delivery added on.

    Sweet.

Been using Play a fair bit, but they seem to take an eternity to deliver, as do Amazon with this new "Super Saver" delivery. Gameplay aren't exactly speedy, either.

Picked up Metroid: Fusion for £19.98 in GAME this lunchtime BTW for anyone interested. It's in this "big" sale they're doing at the moment, so would imagine you should be able to pick it up in most stores at that price.

Heh. Might like to check the Doom 3 thread for my input.

Let's just say i took away 80 quids worth of preorders from them and placed them with amazon for about 3 quid more.

Providing you have no problems you'll probably be alright, I for one, will never be using them again.

I have pre ordered the exact same games as you. Some great prices. Its my first time buying from them so I'll wait and see how it turns out. It would be great if I got them early.

Been using Simplygames for the last few years (and I have been pimping them on this forum) and I think they are great, especially now the website doesn't look like a kids drawing.

VERY good service from them in fact I usually check them first and will only buy elsewhere online if they get undercut.

But yep, so far I'm well happy with 'em.

Well seeing as i appear to be the only one with a problem with them, i'll say no more.

It was obviously just me being unlucky.
