| I really can't be bothered with Trophies although I'm quite happy to Achievement and Gamerscore whore. In some ways though without worrying about Trophies or points my gaming experience is a lot less stressful and at times more enjoyable/relaxing because of this. Can't explain why this is the case. |

The nightmare train was indeed the hardest part of that game. For anyone still stuck on it: Save the minigun till devil jin shows up and then just blast him over the side of the train. -

Yeah, Im about three trophies shy on Dead Space, In order for me to obtain a platinum i would have to complete it on the hardest difficulty setting, aswell as only use the plasma cutter. Quite a task.
You should've only used the Plasma Cutter on your first playthrough! Makes the game more enjoyable imo.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing

Registered 15 years agoPlat for Uncharted 2 for me today. Luckily, I didn't actually have to _win_ the co-op mp mission to get the trophy for it

Registered 14 years agoonly been playing Ass Creed 2 for a few days but apart from the 100 feathers collection it seems quite reasonable..most of them seem to be from natural story progression -

To be honest I couldn't be arsed with trophies at all they just don't have the same sort of appeal as Achievements. Can't explain why but seeing a number associated with it just seems errr better.
On the positive side of things it does mean I just play the games on the PS3 without much frustration trying for those difficult achievements. On the negative side it means I am probably more likely to just drop a game without finishing it. -

The 100 feathers trophy doesnt take as much time as you would think.
Its a pain in the ass, granted.
I had collected a good 80+ before i needed directions from wiki cheats. Going over old ground is very tedious but it only took a few hours to get the ones i missed. -

Registered 15 years agoi now have 11 (have got 2 since my last post) they are:
1. Singstar
2. Uncharted
3. Fallout 3
4. BioShock
5. Burnout Paradise
6. Buzz! Quiz TV
7. LittleBigPlanet
8. Need for Speed Undercover
9. Trivial Pursuit
10. Eyepet
11. SAW
Eyepet plat is pretty frustrating at times, especially when you have low light. I found SAW an absoultly great game but im a huge fan of the movies, the platinum is pretty easy, definatly one of my easiest as most you get when you just play the story and the last few can just be backtracked to. -
Out of interest, which was the most difficult platinum to obtain? -

Never a truer word! Combine with a darkish carpet and you are pretty much fucked with any Playstation Eye game. Seeing my mate using the flash on his mobile phone to try and get his Eye of Judgement cards to register was pretty funny though

I have the "Plat" for both uncharted games.
I totally rule the trophy leaderboard....(in my house)

SingStar is seen as a very difficult platinum because some trophies rely entirely on the community, such as getting 8000 views for your media, and an overall 4 star rating after 1000 ratings. If you've not played SingStar, thats very difficult.
Some Platinums aren't possible anymore because the servers have shut down (NBA something or other is an example - and after February there will be a whole bunch of EA servers shutting down).
Some Platinums are just redicously difficult, such as Warhawk (requires to get to highest online rank which takes rediculous amounts of time, very few people have the Warhawk Platinum). GTA IV, Far Cry 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Ninja Guiden Sigma 2. The list goes on... -

Registered 18 years agocheers! yeah, but now i'm out of shape for MW2 .gif)
got to get into that practice again! -
It'd be interesting to know how many people have platinums for some of the really hard games, such as Warhawk, MW2 (some of the spec ops seem impossible), Batman (again, some of the challenge rooms are a bit hard), wipeout, SFIV etc etc.
Could just be me that thinks these are hard, though. -
Managed to get the Trine platinum today.
and felt like a complete whore doing it.
Zero toil though, the only trophy that can be considered slightly challenging was scaling the Tower Of Sarek without dying. (which was actually alot of fun)
cheap, cheap platinum. -

Registered 19 years agoI have platinums for the Mega Drive Collection, Fallout 3 and, best of all, Hannah Montana: The Movie. There are plenty of other games I own that wouldn't take much skill (just time) to get a platinum for (both Uncharteds, Mini Ninjas, Assassin's Creed 2, inFamous, Burnout Paradise, X-Blades), but I just can't be bothered to play them. -

Snagged the GOW3 platinum today. No effort really, the only (partially) troublesome blighter was the 'Up To The Challenge' trophy. Everything else was a complete breeze. -

Registered 15 years agoBatman's not hard to platinum really, you just need to get the hang of the combat. MW2 is similar though you the need for some co-op means it could be tougher. I would say with few exceptions trophies tend to be fairly accessible in terms of playing 'skill' but there are definitely some that require silly amounts of time spent. -
Seven so far .gif)
Easyest was magadrive Collection.
Hardest for me was Uncharted 2 (Crushing mode).
