just had to brave the tempest to take the dogs out. got to the local bit of field/waste ground and took our lurcher's lead off so she could go and do her business. She took one look at me, turned tail and ran. Chased her hopelessly back through the estate to find stood at our front gate waiting for me to arrive and open it so she could get back indoors.

I don't think she is a fan of storm ciara.

It's pretty grim out there. Only drive about 7 miles along the coast but got buffeted about a bit. Only to find the ferries home have been cancelled for the foreseeable, so holed up at Gunwharf for the day. Cinema beckons!

Meh, wasn't that bad actually. A bit breezy but not much in the way of rain.

I raced the storm front up the M5 back from Devon to Worcestershire this morning, was a bit blustery and rainy but all-in-all not too horrendous.

It's picking up now though, my garden is taking a kicking and I'm hoping I have enough sandbags holding my daughter's trampoline in place.

Come and gone now. Blue sky and fairly mellow. Odd. It was fucking catastrophic earlier

Just got back from a walk. Normally I'm pretty well kitted out for bad weather, unfortunately all my gear is at home and I'm living with a skeleton selection of clothing. I'm now cold and wet and seeking solace with a pint. Don't really know what to do with myself.

Sounds like a plan. Although I'm now at the point where I have to choose car or booze. Its nice to be out, but if I ditch the car I'll have to bus it to work tomorrow.

Next door neighbor has lost their shed roof, but we seem to have survived okay.

Not too bad in South London. Although a massive tree was uprooted at the end of the road - but it was very exposed on a hill.

In my garden there is no evidence of anything. Hasnt even blown around some cardboard. My son enjoyed the wind and rain in his face when we went to the pool (which was a balmy 32°!!!!

Wind's mostly died down here now, but the rain has stepped in to take its place.

Same here, mostly calm now. Now do I take tomorrow off to try and repait the damage, or leave it until next weekend?

Still windy as fuck on the south coast. Waiting to see if the ferry currently on its way to Portsmouth from the island has anyone on. If not, the captain will have decided it's too rough, and I think that'll be it for the night.
