Thunderstorms near me keep getting cancelled, it's really annoying.

Yup. Was expecting the windows to be rattled last night but it keeps getting pushed back.

Percentage chance is getting higher, though.

I've been in London all week and it's been oppressive and stifling to the point where I want some Northern grey skies. Is this normal for the South? :D

The rain has fucked the main bt thingy in Edinburgh so even up here our internet is off. Brilliant. Got a fuck ton of work to do and can't do it. Even my software is fucked because it can't connect to creative cloud.

I don't know what hotspotting your phone means. Is it anything to do with Michael Barrymore?

Well your 4G must work or you wouldn’t be posting here. So you can connect your computer to your phone then use data.

The penny obviously dropped far too late but, since WFH and global warming seem like The New Normal, Im definitely going to get aircon of some description for next year.

    (bookmarks post for posterity)

@wuntyate do you have an iphone? In settings switch on personal hotspot, then find your phone in your available wireless networks on your PC, and connect using the code your phone provides

@smoothpete My 4G works, yes. I wouldn't know the first thing about using my phone data that way though and half of these macs are ancient so don't think it's a possibility unfortunately.

Although I think our internet has just started working again, far earlier than estimated. Thank the wee man. Can't believe I can't even do offline work without being connected. Modern life is rubbish.

Thunder now more or less a constant low rumble. Some mild rain.

Bring me the rainpocalypse I was promised!

Holy shit! Just took the girl to her karate lesson on the local sports field.

Started off in the blistering sunshine, then the wind kicked up and she was doing kata in the middle of a hurricane, then lightning was going off in the distance like some kind of hellscape and then in the middle of combos the tropical rain hit.

I have honestly never seen anything like it. It was like Ming was fucking around with a weather machine.

I've got 2 hours of kickboxing in 20 minutes. There's a pretty strong chance that I'm going to die.

Wind picked up in a very unnatural way - closed all windows and...it's gone and no rain. Thanks for the anticlimax nature!

Actually most street fights end when an opponent has a thumb firmly in the adversaries anus.

Well we definitely got hit by the weather. A train derailed and killed 3, most of the schools opened and then had to close same day and various roads flooded and then idiots drove into the deep water and their cars broke

The train derailment is very sad, yet by mid day it was lovely weather and blue skies - pretty brutal

That derailment is a big deal. Not been a fatality caused by a derailment for over a decade.
