    This isn't that unusual though. A few times since I've lived here, I've been on the beach on the Friday for a picnic/playing with the kids and then snow by the Sunday. We're in 3rd Winter.

    Bodes well for my hayfever this year. An early warm spell - like we had last week - followed by a sudden freeze tends to deprive the pollinating little fuckers of a bit of their vim and vigour.

    Friend just txt to say snowing in Herts.

    And we have an outdoor (obvs) book club meet up today... Choice timing.

    The good news is, I'm not involved - other than making chilli cornbread and a South African spinach soup.
