Registered 18 years agoalmost tempting though. much as i like my g4 it does feel a little on the sluggish side. good job they aren't doing a 23", i might have had an uncontrollable urge to crucify my credit card. -

Registered 18 years agoThe processor and graphics cards configurations are identical to the original single processor G5 1.6 & 1.8Ghz towers, so presumably this means the FSB will be bumped to 800Mhz as well. -

Slightly off topic but if IBM is having so much problems making G5s then what effect is that going to have on the next generation consoles that use IBM manufacturing processes for CPUs? i.e MS, Sony and probably Nintendo. -

If they really are going to look like that Vaio they link to then I'll go with a cinema display for the time being and invest in a G5 tower at some point further down the road. Maybe.
