Prague is good fun. Great transport, lots of places to walk, things to do. I'd recommend the castle/museum/cathedral/stuff. Also, the Blacklight Theatre is ace, as is the museum of torture devices. Some fucking works of art in there Some good walks to go on around Prague, too - you pay a fee and a guide takes you on a tour/walk. The pub crawl "walk" is ace, though the "ghost walk" is a bit shit. You end up next to a statue with the guy going "Ooh, who can see the ghost? Wooo!" Though he does take you to the Jewish Quarter and tells you the story of the Golem (along with where he was etc). The Jew area is pretty cool, too. An old man giving out kippas kicked off when some American girl took one. "NO! IS NOT FOR YOU!" And then we saw where there were lots of dead jews, stacked six high. I put the kippa on and struck my best buddy christ pose \o/ Let's see... Oh, and it's worth a go to Kutna Hora (either by some form of transport by yourself or on one of the tours) to see the Ossuary. The entire church is decorated with the bones of thousands of dead people. One more war and they'll have enough to finish the sign for the gift shop. Those were the main bits that stuck out for me. Oh, and fucking killer goulash at some back-street place. *edit* Oh, I went back in... 2004 / early 2005 IIRC. One of the two, probably 2004. |

Hmm so I am going to be with Mrs Fletche but surrounded by beautiful women whilst being harassed by prostitutes and randomly meeting drug dealers and gangsters!
I was there about two years ago. It was lovely. Not particulary crowded and felt very safe. Very much like a normal central European city, like Vienna or so. Enjoy the touristy sights. It's a lovely looking city really, and still quite cheap. -

Prague is starting to scare me a bit now, I think I may have made a bad choice......sounds like the last days of rome!
Nah I'd say it's fine now. Back then it seemed to be a free for all, and having just come from Vienna, it was a little odd as it looked so similarly spectacular but really, I am not, kidding, you couldn't cross the square without being approached by some lady pimping a few hookers. -

Registered 15 years agoWent there for a business trip years ago.
2nd Tinder date with a Russian girl I met in London resulted in her joining me. She launched a faux-modelling career the amount of people who wanted her picture for marketing the restaurants in the main square.
A lot of fun. -

Went a couple of years with the missus. Loved the place. Loads to see and I enjoyed the food. I got a bit obsessed with goulash. I had it at least once a day.
