Marty Funkhouser's joke in the last series is priceless.

PS- your cunt is in the sink.

The actor playing Marty Funkhouser was also the comedy stuntman 'Super Dave'. He always used to be on Clive James on TV.

    :D

The last season of Curb was fantastic, having the old cast back was a dream come true for me, made for some of my favourite tv. Also made me pine for more Seinfeld :(

It really was wonderful. Pure fan service, but in the best possible way, it really was exactly what we all wanted to see.

I do kinda hope they just leave it there now. It was such a fitting end and tied Seinfeld up and Curb into one glorious whole. They canít do any better now.

I agree, it was the perfect ending to it all. However Larry David has already confirmed that he's going to do an 8th season. I hope it's worth it because I'm not sure how he'll top the last one.

I love the look Larry gives when he thinks someone isn't telling the truth and the little tune to go along with it :p Spanned 3 seasons so far it's great :)

Oh. Interesting, but really think the season 7 ended was as perfect an ending it will ever have. Really hope they prove me wrong.

Would have been silly to end it on that note. Putting the show into NY is a great idea, seems like Larry is feeling increasingly nostalgic since his marriage broke down.

Got this for my girlfriend at Christmas and just started watching it tonight - absolutely loving it! Only watched five episodes but becoming very addicted, fast.

I picked up the boxset from Amazon (series 1 to 7) as it's now half price. I've seen many of the later episodes, but I've not seen the first series and I was quite amazed to find it's fully realised in the first episode. Some comedies tend to grow and "get better" but this is pure brilliance from the start. The first episode could easily be an episode in a later series. With some comedies you can look back and see how they were not as good in the starting series, i.e. Seinfeld, which gradually gets better and better towards series 3, 4, 5

I've also been recording Seinfeld from the beginning on sky Atlantic.

When do they show Seinfeld? I've been watching it on SkyGo On Demand. They put whole series up on there for streaming which is great.

Anyone managed to see Clear History yet? It's basically Curb. Need more!

Nope, AFAIK no-one has bought the rights to either show it on TV or release it in cinemas. Shame.
  • Deleted user 12 September 2013 09:27:04
It'll probably turn up on itunes. You can even get Sour Grapes on there, which I keep meaning to see.
