Registered 15 years agoUses one port as a unifying dongle for both. Even comes with a throughput dongle as well so you don't lose any ports. -

Registered 15 years agoIn short yes, you can mix and match the Logitech kb/m as long as it supports the unifying dongle.
See here for more details. -

Registered 15 years agoThis has little to do with wireless recommendations, sorry !, but here goes : using a Microsoft keyboard (a Sidewinder X6, not wireless at all, but very nice nonetheless) and a Logitech mouse (the MX 518, which is wired as well : apologies !), can I safely delete or disable the Microsoft IPoint.exe that I don't use ? I assume Logitech's installed a similar unneeded keyboard driver too, but haven't been able to identify it yet. Thanks for the help. -

Registered 19 years agoI would've thought it'd be fine, why not just turn it off and see? -

Registered 19 years agoHow are wireless mice for gaming? Is lag even a problem anymore? I don't see why it would be since all the console controllers are wireless. -

Registered 14 years agoI find both wireless kb and mouse to be absolutely perfect for my gaming needs.
I've got a wireless sidewinder x8 and the logitech k750 that mrpon posted a link to further up the page. -

Registered 20 years agoSome of the really cheap wireless mice should be avoided - really bad response rate that you will notice. As long as you're getting something reasonably decent that operates in the 2.4GHz range then you should be fine. -

My M515 has forward/back done by waggling the scroll wheel left or right. Looks like the abidextrous version of the one mrPon linked, but as such it doesn't have the two extra buttons on the side. I reckon MrPon's one is actually seven buttoned (plus scroll).
seems the logitec mouses only have 3 buttons? (no forward/back buttons)
is this right?
looking for one with 5 buttons. -

This will do. Ok so I'm after a wireless keyboard and mouse. Bluetooth connection via a USB I assume?
What's out there? At the moment I'm using standard USB Compaq stuff. Anything to recommend at a decent price? -

Registered 13 years agoI was looking for a new mouse after building a new PC a couple of weeks ago. Virtually every one I looked at online seemed to be tiny. I ordered one from Amazon that I thought was a reasonable size and it was tiny too. I have long fingers, but not particularly huge hands.
In the end I carried on using my old Microsoft one (which is wireless, but not Bluetooth - it has a plug-in sensor). It works, and it's comfortable in the hand. Wouldn't have minded a nice new one though. -
I had the same problem, went through a couple of what turned out to be too small logitech ones. I ended up getting one of these Kensington . Probably the biggest mouse I've had, actually took some getting used too, but nice once I did. Personally I prefer them not to be bluetooth, I've always found it unreliable.
