    8.2 megapixel but more importantly, near instant power on time and a faster 8 point AF.

    I vant, I vant . . . off to town to see when they’ll have it in and how much they'll give me for my 10D.

    Oh the new 17-85 mm F4 - F5.6 looks tasty too. It's image stabilised. I vant, I vant!!!

    8MP, nice! 5 fps shooting is nice too and I wouldn't mind a black&white mode on my Nikon D100.

    I didn't know there was a power on delay on the 10D that they've finally eliminated.

    Hm, just when I had convinced the girl-friend to buy a Nikon D70, after reading approximately 1.000.000.000.000.017 online reviews and forum posts.

    Lou, the D70 is an excellent camera that costs 2/3 or less of the 20D. If she already has a system or knows someone else that does, buy a camera for that system. It will take most of the recent (usually AF) lenses and that's a big advantage.
