I'm sorry, I seem to have entered a weird universe where people seem to not understand the very obvious point I made. Maybe it's too obvious for your complex brains to comprehend? I'll take my simple mind and find another thread to confuse. -
The Android and Hero's gaming selection is the same quality as the shitty symbian selection of yore. As in not existent. The iPhone is now an actual gaming platform with developers increasingly pushing what they can do with it. While the Android/Hero offer a couple of hours of fun wanking over tech specs, then once you've got your email set up and facebook on there the fun is over.
That is why specs mean fuck all on most phones. -

Registered 17 years agoAye the update was pretty sweet. Not a big fan of pinch/zoom stuff as I normally just use my thumb for navigating around.
As for games, well there aren't that many at the moment, although I do have a couple which I enjoy playing on the train. But I suspect that with the recent addition of multi touch to the API, as well as more powerful devices being launched, its only a matter of time before we start to see some really good game software for Android.

ExZeus on Android looks like it may be taking the OS in the right direction with regard to being taking seriously as a games platform.
To be honest, with the number of Android devices on the market now, and with the amount of devices being launched this year, you would be silly to not think about writing something for Android if only to test the waters. -
