Does anyone know whats the widest angle lens available on a compact of some desciption is ? By compact i mean something that can ideally be fit into a pocket, the boss wants me to find one for the office when we are out on site. Doesn't necessarily need any flash features like face recognition or every ISO speed ever imagined.

Yeah, and quite a few new 24mm cameras were announced at CES yesterday.

It's amazing how much trouble it was for me to find a compact that went out to 28mm last time I bought a compact.

I had a Ricoh GRD that had a fixed focal length of 28mm. Loved it. Great industrial design.
