Quick nikon d40 Questions

    A good friend is selling his d40 less than 500 shots for £150 its in mint and since i dont have a dslr is it worth geting at this price or should i just save up

    It's a good deal, just be aware that you will be slightly limited over which lenses you can use autofocus with. THat's the only slight downside.

    At that price though, you can upgrade to a D80 or whatever when that becomes a problem without too much regret, and the D40 will always be a useful body to have around due to its weight and size.

    I got a D40 about a year and a half ago and I've been really pleased with it. The only downside is what kalel just mentioned.
