Ha, I still vividly remember slapping MGS2 on in eager anticipation, only to be left cold within the first hour or so at exactly the same thing. And all the orange girders. Don't forget the orange! -

Registered 15 years agoBurnout 2 - Take the Paradise engine and roll it back to the old hardcore game mechanics. None of that traffic checking bullshit.
System Shock - Complete 3D overhaul. Keep everything else pretty much the same but update the controls to be on par with current first person action games.
Kirby's Pinball - Where is my DS update?

racle games - Update graphics to 4 Swords Wii standard, add the third cancelled game, sell on Wiiware.
Paradroid - I want to see this remade as a 'first person' action adventure. A sort of System Shock meets Cholo meets Legend of Zelda. Graphical display and HUD dependant upon currently controlled droid. Abilty to customise captured droids. Multiple paths for puzzle and progression to unlock new areas and story. -

A great game and well worth an update, would also be great with online MP, could either have rival masters trying to take control of a dungeon or another mode where you have one master and some knights trying to invade the dungeon.
(apparently this was announced in '08 but nothing came of it) -

as a big Dungeon keeper fan, I would like to see them try and remove the 'pick up minions' ability, and for attacks and defense to be performed with dungeon design / Majesty 2 style bounties (put money on a target/ objective, minions rush to grab it), it felt a bit too much like 'spam the shit out of enemies by burying them with your dudes' in the older games
would also love to see Dwarf fortress style Z levels, so you can go deeper into the ground, where maybe more dangerous creatures/ lava can be found -
Actually, a remake of Grim Fandango with HD graphics and a control system that doesn't make me self-harm is something I would play. -

Deus Ex - keep the music but give it a nice polygon and texture bump.
Story Of Thor - keep the perspective but go all out on the textures. -

X-Com up to Apocolypse, Syndicate, syndicate wars, little big adventure 1 and 2, wing commander 1-4 and privateer, Dreamweb, Mechwarrior, Terra Nova, Daggerfall, Moonstone and Crusader No Remorse would all be remakes I'd pay for without reading any reviews because I'm stuck in the past. -
