Registered 11 years agoIt looks amazing in 3D, particularly the cutscenes. I'm liking the pairing mechanic too, good stuff.
Only another 3 weeks or so to wait now, Sacred Stones will have to tide me over. Anywhere doing a decent pre-order price? -

Registered 7 years agoThe cheapest price I found for Fire Emblem was Shopto (£29.84). Most places seemed to be around £33. -

Registered 15 years agoWorth noting for anybody thinking about picking up Devil Survivor Overclocked that there seem to be some serious bugs in the EU version.

Registered 13 years agoUhhh, about Overclocked. Seems the EU version has a game-breaking bug that crashes the game when the "summon" command is used. Oh dear.

Yup. Both retail and digital downloads can and have been patched. -

Registered 15 years agoI very much doubt Ghostlight will be creating a patch for it though. They're just a publisher, and I'd say the fact they've managed to break a perfectly-functional game whilst doing minimal localisation work shows the level of technical expertise they have available. It's not going to come from the developer either, given the game was released almost two years ago in other territories (and didn't have these problems). -

Registered 11 years agoThat sucks that it shipped with such a game breaking bug. I tend to play my 3ds outside the house so I'll make sure to boot this up at home when it arrives to make sure I get any patches before I start playing. I also tried the fire emblem demo and was really impressed so thats now on my to buy list.....damn you 3ds. Also tempted by Code of Princess -

Registered 16 years agoDDSO seems to be 99% out of stock everywhere already though. Judging by the reviews, better off just sticking to the DS version anyway. -

@santashi Whoa. Steady on. Overclocked hasn't been patched. I was just stating that 3DS software can and does get patched from time to time. As has been mentioned though, it's quite unlikely to happen in this case.

Registered 11 years agoSo ive been enjoying Luigis Mansion 2 (great game, keep them coming Nintendo) today but the size of the 3DS is really starting to make playing hard to play it for more than an hour before my hands start to cramp up.
Are there any good deals going for a 3DS XL at the moment? Or should I just wait until E3 and see if Nintendo release another updated handheld? -

I'd start looking around for some deals on the XL, myself. Perhaps consider HMV or GAME, if you intend to get rid of your current model. They might let you transfer your games across to the XL and trade the old one in to bump the price down.
I can't imagine what Nintendo could do with a new model 3DS, unless it included a 2nd slider, but so few games support it at the minute, so it might not be worth the extra cost. -

I want to trade my current one in once I've done a data transfer and as far as I know GAME give you 24 hours to do that, plus the GAME by me now all ways offers the best price in the town as CEX is a minute from the store they have a print off of the prices and beat them so that's a bit of extra cash off. -

Amazon.it are doing the silver for £130 delivered at the moment. Might be a cheaper option for me to sell my 3DS for around £70-80 and then put £50 to it myself as opposed to £75-£80 from game. -

Registered 11 years agoYou don't need to have it boxed but when I take mine there it will be and I think you do have to have the charger with it but im not sure about that. -
They might knock off a few quid without the box, so if you can find it. -

Registered 9 years agoI got really lucky with my xl, bought it on amazon for about 128 and sold my old 3ds to a mate for 100!
Anyone else bought the circle pad pro xl? What games work for it?
Resi rev and metal gear is all I know -
