| Anyone know whether they can be done ? I was playing around the other day to see if i could do it as i had a batch of RAWs i wanted to convert in the same way. However the action didn't appear to 'record' any of the details regarding the RAW conversion. |

Registered 20 years agoI know my RAW converter (Silkypix) has a batch processing mode and I've always assumed it works as expected from the development template you feed it on all pictures in the batch. That said I've never actually used it, I hand tweak each image I like enough to develop (using the auto-develop guidelines as a jumping off point most of the time).
But I'm guessing you're talking about an Adobe product, in which case my shallow pockets leave me uninformed. -

Registered 18 years agoAye i was on about CS3 which is what i'm using, turns out it does it but not with a batch action, its an image process appparently.
I normally do them individually, but when you have tens of images all with exactly the same lighting setup and therefore conversion requirements, then there really is no need, and i'm lazy. ^_^ -

Can you not open more than one RAW file at once with ACR and copy adjustments between them? I'm sure I've done that before.
Much easier with Lightroom, though.
