Yeah, I know that but there is a big difference between a cameo in something no one watched and what could be the biggest re-union since.. I dunno.. Pink Floyd played that one time a few years ago.

  • Deleted user 7 July 2014 16:17:21
I thought it was contrived and not that funny. It didn't even really make sense imo.

Argh I thought George said the 'panties your mother laid out for you' line for some reason!

That is possibly the funniest moment in the whole 9 seasons for me. The anticipation before the line is ridiculous and yet it still delivers.

    7/12

If I had eaten my Wispa with a knife and fork I would've got a higher score.

Watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia reminded me of why I liked Seinfeld, and why (on the whole) I think Seinfeld is a superior show.

Both shows are about quite horrible people (taken to ridiculous extremes in It's Always Sunny). But the characters in Seinfeld are nonetheless recognisable as real people. Or at least people that could be real. And that makes it easier for me to relate to.

Although it did get pretty wacky from time to time, particularly in the later seasons. The one where Kramer gets the set for the Merv Griffin Show was absolutely surreal.

I never really questioned it. It's just that I hear them compared quite a lot, so thought I'd offer my two cents after seeing a few seasons.

I'm a long time Sunny fan (it's one of my absolute favourites) but, oddly, I've only started Seinfeld for the first time a few weeks ago. It's good so far (half way through Season Three) but I'm told that it ramps up and gets even better. Looking forward to that!

Seinfeld is one of the greatest sitcoms ever made.
