given that i trained in taijutsu, part of the unarmed training in ninjutsu, then yes i am.

unfortunately our instructor was a borderline psycho, and fucked me up once, so i quit.

I had a similar problem when I took up karate - the gleam in the instructor's eye as he said "C'mon, pretend you've got a knife & try & stab me!" was just too much & I only lasted a month, as it was the more experienced pupils that tended to get the crap kicked out of em.

I did Atemi Jitsu for a while but the instructor was a bit of a nutter also - one hour of warm up exercise, 2 hours training, one hour cool down and then a 4 mile run. He also did training with the nunchaku and various other toys which was good fun.

Quite fun tho, worth a read if you don't know what atemi jitsu is: -

Also did Aikido for a while with a another mad instructor who was into the traditional form - no belts, grades etc but shedloads of meditation and relaxation techniques. http://www.aikidofaq.com/introduction.html

No. I did Judo for a few years, but the only thing that qualifies is the website test.

I started off at judo when I was about 8. Got to blue belt and then stopped.

'scuse me, I am just pissed that I don't pass this bloody test.

Can't remember anything of my Judo days, tbh, it was almost 20 years ago. :(

same thing they said when I got 0.098, along the lines of "sensei your finger is like that of a real ninja"

0.000 - Isn't this a bit like in Athletics track events where if your start time is too quick, you are judged to have made a false start, as you have "pre-empted" the starting gun ?.

I did Karate for 2 years until our REALLY decent sensei left and we got a couple of replacement idiots. Grr.

    Left.

Came back after a year. Instructor saw me train once and asked me to come to Sensei evening and, then, just as I got all excited, he said they were looking for trainers.

    I don't wanna train, I wanna learn.

    So exit stage left again.

    /sigh/
