Registered 13 years agoThere is sound, it is just a very quiet bloke speaking occasionally over a quiet feed. Also. launch in about 30 mins I think, they are in a 'hold count' (whatever that is) at 9 minutes, which starts up again in around 20 mins, to hit a 1.56 take off time, to correctly rendevous the ISS on Wednesday. I think. -

Registered 11 years agoThey have had some jet's flying around the surrounding airspace sending back weather report.
There was some cloud, but its either past or a non issue.
Interesting to hear about them preparing emergency landing sites in Spain & France. -

I'll be in Florida! Coincidentally....
I'll never tire of watching that, so sad that it's coming to an end. I feel like I've followed it my whole life, I remember it being rolled out for the first time (1976?). -

Registered 12 years ago10 minutes and you're in space.
Sounds impossible when you say it like that. -
I love watching them.
It's a shame I'm never going to see one go up in person -
I was in Florida to see the return of Endeavour from it's maiden journey in 1992!
Was on Daytona beach so didn't see much more than a speck in the sky though
