Nuf happy this has been leaked it'll really piss Jobs off, and he deserves it after lying to our faces about the international launch.

I wouldn't buy myself out of a contract personally, throwing good money away imo, hence why I skipped the 3GS.

It's deliberately structured as if I'm a retard, I speak like this to give you a challenge, honest! It's the second family of iPhones is the way I see it. iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, although all different models were part of the same family, and this new iPhone is the first big step away from it, and also the first generation of that family! :)

What I was worried about is the fact they'll have honed the hardware and software for the already released phones but it would be risky to jump straight into the new one at an early stage.

    Probably completely unfounded though, probably.

    Larger resolution though apparently.

Looks nice to me. I thought it looked horrendous when it first leaked on Engadget but from the Gizmodo videos and photos comparing it to the 3GS it actually looks very nice.

Lots of the Nexus One reviews say the screen is terrible outdoors. Not sure if this tech is right for mobile devices just yet.

Check that image (number 8) fullsize. Screen size may be smaller, but it's very similar.

    Tinfoil hat time :)

    Engadget photos from yesterday: http://www.engadget.com/photos/iphone-4g-proof/#2904446

    Gizmodo shots from today: http://gizmodo.com/5520155/gal-1//gallery/13

Look at the shots of the bottom of the phone, either side of the 30-pin connector. Engadget phone has no screws, Gizmodo phone has a screw either side of the connector.

There are at least two "leaked" phones out there. It's hard enough to believe that Apple lost one phone, but two? No way. This "leak" was staged by Apple. :)

One thing I noticed was the very first leak showed XX GB on the back whereas the new ones show a number.

Edit: Nope, disregard what I said :)

I don't understand why Gizmodo are holding back the shots of the screen with the iTunes logo and the internals of the device.

They won't get it to load, because Apple have remotely turned it off.

Doesn't mean that a skilled enough hacker couldn't circumvent the lock out.

Well, that's assuming that it hasn't wiped itself, which it almost certainly has since that's something Apple supports for MobileMe customers.
