I was planning on travelling SE Asia this year, but it didn’t work out because of money and other stuff.

With some of the Ladyboys you can't tell at all when fully clothed, never mind naked. A transgender is still classed as a katoi, or Ladyboy, yes. Tell tale signs are when they have scarves around their necks to hide an Adam's Apple, or bigger hands, or more of a square face. Generally they stick to their own bars, although on occasion you might see one, or two in a girly bar too.

I’m semi-serious. I don’t think I’m gay or bi… at least I’m not attracted to the male image.

I was on some website and there was a test where you had to pick the lady boys out from genuine lady Thai models. There were a lot that I got wrong. There are a lot of fit Thai models, both genuine females and ladyboys.

I was going to try and find a really good looking one and see if I could do the deed. I wouldn’t force myself, but if I felt like I wanted to I’d just carry on with it.

A more appropriate question – How much money do you need to travel Thailand as a cheapo backpacker for 1 – 2 months? Staying in the cheapest places and eating the cheapest food, but willing to spend money on travelling/experiences.

If you go cheap working on £20 per day budget, then you'll need about £600 for a month. Putting in travel and some shopping and luxuries I'd increase that to £1500-2000 for two months.
