What did you think?
It was a great show, although the sound was a bit pants for the first 20 mins or so until they got the boominess under control. And a bit annoyed that they couldn't get the sound in sync with the pictures for the 'History of Rush' films that opened both halves.
But given that they played two of my favourite three songs (Marathon, La Villa Strangiato), no complaints at all about the set list.
Have to say though, the performance overall was down on previous years. That's the first time I've not been completely blown away by Peart's drum solo.
Still - given that their combined age is 150+, I'll let them off. -

I really enjoyed it, despite the fact that nobody around the area I was in seemed to really know what they were actually there for and kept going off for beer or food. Twats.

Sound was decent, performance was overall great despite Ged's voice not being totally on it - the setlist was amazing, even though they played nothing from Grace Under Pressure
I think O Baterista suffered from being pretty much identical to every other time they've played for the last few years, really - so many live videos

Registered 15 years agoI am going down to London on Monday with the missus to be in the audience for the first of the Britains Got Talent Live Finals. I might liven things up for myself by streaking across the stage with 'EG is for Lovers' painted on my chest in Lipstick, before smacking Holden in the face with my flacid member. -

It was an awesome gig last night! I thought Danananaykroyd and Blacklisters were awesome but Bronto Skylift we're just amazing. I'm really deaf today after standing too close to the drummer, i've never seen anyone hit the drums that hard!
Was really disappointed with Young Legionnaire, though they were really poor and had a really bad attitude, perhaps due to the size of bands they've all been in before? -

Not sure about the young legionnaire thing yr saying, they seemed pretty in to it last night. They even let me smash a cymbal with a drum stick during the last song. Strummed a few of Duncan's guitar notes during dananananaykroyd too, and got a tiny cut that bled all over my hand. Must copy paste and edit this in to the gig review thread later.
