I am thinking of going to Paris in October to see PJ Harvey. I have prior commitments when she is playing in the UK.

There might be a minor EG exodus to the continent to see her this year- I'm heading off to visit a mate in Holland in Oct and am going to see her while over there.

The non-Jello Dead Kennedy's are also playing while I'm there, so we will probably go to that too.
What dates are those? I can catch the Dead Kennedy's in the UK, but combining the two might be an idea.

    Whoop!!!
Got a ticket to see Thee Oh Sees in Leeds early September. I'm so excited, it might just null the feeling of driving to Yorkshire...

Just got home from seeing Noel Gallagher in Singleton Park.

Absolutely outstanding - the guy is a seasoned pro and he belted out all his best NGHFB tracks. He skilfully peppered in a few Oasis classics too, which included finishing the set with 'Wonderwall'.

    Brought the house down 👍🏻💪🏻👏🏻

@urban Just had the most sensational night at the Albert Hall in Manchester last night with Moderat, they were on amazing form and seemed to be loving every minute.

At times the place was roaring, wow. Been to a fair few gigs in my years and they were right up there.

    Have fun.

Obviously there's the high profile event hopefully going on at Old Trafford Cricket Club this weekend, Grande, Bieber , Coldplay et all.

There's also this event at the Deaf Institute on Sunday, looks like a good line up.

That's certainly a more tempting line up.

8 months on since my post above and my kraftwork tickets have *finally* arrived. Not long to wait now.

I bought a job lot of Kraftwerk CDs last weekend from a market for my car. Seemed like a natural travel upgrade.
    Where are they playing at?

I've got Sugerhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and a host of other early 80s Hip-Hoppers next Tuesday at Gorrilla in Manchester.
I've read reviews of the tour, live version of The Wizard is worth the ticket price alone !?!

Seeing him a couple of weeks later. He's never disappointed as far as I'm concerned, really looking forward to it as well.

    :D

I also bought some maiden tickets to take my boy to for his first gig. Not into them any more, but thought it would be good fun for him and he likes his guitar/rock music!

Also got for Moz in Feb, mostly to just catch up with a mate, and for Mercury Rev later in the year.

Thought they weren’t on sale until tomorrow, but saw that people have been getting them through some o2 pre-sale bullshit. Be gutted if they’re all gone by the time they’re officially on sale.

Did you have any luck getting tickets?

I'm kinda sat on my hands waiting for the right time to buy train tickets. Still need to sort out some accommodation though. Can't wait!

(only just noticed your username name and what I assume is a Jawbreaker connection)

Yep, I don't think it sold out in the end, so no problems getting tickets. Really expected it to be more popular, but the promoter was advertising tickets as available long after they went on sale.

Stupidly excited for it though. Saw them last time they played the UK, but don't remmember all that much about the gig, due to drunkeness.
