Firewall might be worth trying again for a month or two, Decks - at least until all the noobs get sick of how it isn't just call of duty in vr and fuck off back to their usual shootbangs.

Also, I need to stop buying games, FFS. I can't remember the last plus month I didn't already have them all (the ones that matter, I mean).

I have also thought about buying the PS4 Bioshocks but not got around to it so suits me. The wife might like Sims4 if it is any good. No VR so the other one is no good to me it niceto see VR players getting stuff too.

I've never played Bioshock 2. I adored the first so much I replayed it a few times, so by the time 2 came out I was done with Rapture and didn't fancy returning to it for a while. I guess it has been a while now? I'll google it but it can't have been long... Jeez, it'll be a decade in February! Yeah, probably long enough!

Also considered Firewall for a good while, so that one's good to see. I did try the trial and felt my skill level was WAY too low to get the most out of it and I have very few friends on Playstation to play it with. Sims 4 is probably good too, I always liked that as a casual bit of silly fun. All in all I'm pretty happy with this month :)

2 is pretty highly thought of on here but I thought it lacked something.

Bioshock 2 isn't a bad game. Its just more Bioshock but with a pretty redundant story
Oh, and having to waste all your resources and ammo on Big sister fights can do one..

I honestly think 2 plays better than 1. Reminds me I never did get around to replaying that when I bought the collection a couple of years ago. Think I'll fire it up.

Regarding firewall: just be able to intelligently communicate, have a laugh, and learn a few of the levels (there's not a lot of them, and they ain't huge).
That would automatically put you in the "I'd rather you were on my team" than any of the silent assassins who make up the majority of those who clearly have no life outside of this game.
Walking through the other team in complete silence and getting the "win" isn't what this game is about.
It's about those moments where you're being directed by teammates (which is half the fun, tbh; when you die you all get access to security cameras dotted around the map) to hunt down the last opposition survivor; then you wallop around the corner, the cunt in your sights - all executed to perfection.... and everyone laughs at you because you forget to reload beforehand.
I'd rather lose heavily in this game. It usually means I had a way better time.

Yeah, I preferred Bioshock 2 gameplay-wise given what you are as a player character and had a blast with it, but the story in 1 was better.

Speaking of Bioshock, I forget what happened to Ken Levine and his team, were they shuttered? Given how popular Bioshock was/still is, it's strange how the series suddenly disappeared.

Anyway, Uncharted collection last month and Bioshock collection this month, I hope at some point Sony put out the Dishonoured collection as I haven't played those, apart from a bit of 1 back on 360, and I've heard/read good things about them.

Ah really? I wouldn't say no to that, I just hope whoever develops it picks an interesting setting as Rapture was and still is eerily beautiful and unique.

Oh now that would be a good one. I barely played the first one and didnt really enjoy it as it had that rubbish "one enemy sees you the entire map knows where you are " broken stealth.
But I'd give it a second shot via plus.

It's been dirt cheap a few times as well so wouldnt be that surprising of a choice.

Did you ever play the DLC for Bioshock Infinite? The beginning has you wandering through a pre-fall rapture. It's awesome.

Did they ever sort out the performance issues and stuff on the remasters?

    @Decks
The last time I played through the remasters they ran without any problems. That was on PS4.

I honestly can't remember! I'm assuming that's included with the Collection? I'll have to have a look at some point.

I've only played some of Infinite on the X360, so I'm looking forward to playing all of them properly.

Similar story to Dishonored too - completed the first (X360) and loved it. Have the full collection on PS4 and yet to play.

They're all on my MUST pile for this year.

I enoyed both Dishonored 1, it's DLC & 2 though weirdly never got on with Death of the Outsider and never actually finished it. That would be a good shout though as I wouldn't mind having another crack at it and can't be bothered buying it again.

That can go on to the 'to play' list then, as seeing Rapture in its former glory would be cool. I also keep reading nothing but good things about Minerva's Den dlc for Bioshock 2.

Re Bioshock love in, I'm there as well. Already have the collection on ps4 but still it is a great collection for "free" It is a shame we lost the multiplayer though. mixing the Plasmids with gun-play was great fun.

Bioshock 2 is fun but at the time it felt like Bioshock v1.5 with tacked on multiplayer (at the time everygame had to have VS MP mode, also you had this angry idiots who screamed "no MP mode, NO BUY!!!!" but they would only play it for a week or less, declare it as great multiplayer then never play it again as new shiny thing caught their attention)
