Holy shit. A game I haven't already bought.

Took the end of the world for it to finally happen.

Good month, shame I've already finished Uncharted 4 (which is bloody good)

Which Uncharted games are worth playing? Think with this and the collection they've given us most of them, but the only one I've ever actually played is the Vita one.

Theyíre all good really, though youíll fatigue trying to play through all of them. Iíd probably start with 2.

Yeah, I would start with two. One wasnít great, two perfected the formula and is still the best one.

As per MC, you'll get tired if you try to play them back-to-back.
Just do one every three months to space them out (It will take that long to get through the Scotland section of 4  )

If you want to play them all, play the first on Easy and with the knowledge that it's a bit flawed and that the others have got the formula correct.

Nah ramp it up to crushing. You'll get used to the difficultly. Although the tanker level pissed me right off.

I played through the originals on PS3 and enjoyed them in general. 1's setting helped elevate it above some of its flaws. Bought the remakes but not actually played them and still sitting on 4 and Lost Legacy. I suppose having it on plus means I can be lazy and not use the disc so may get to it sooner.

Dirt Rally 2 I just got on Humble Choice but might be nice on the bigger TV... Not played that one yet either, yeah I have a problem... (backlogs)

Not too bad a selection of games though this month.

Iíd play from the start. Other than general spectacle itís the characters that make the games, and going in on ground level helps you see how the writers treat them as people.
The first is definitely weaker than the rest and 2 is the one that defined the franchise forward, so bumping it down in difficulty and smashing through it isnít a bad option.

I'm almost certainly in the minority but I think the first Uncharted is pretty decent. 2 is great. 3 a bit patchy, but still good. 4 very, very slow to get going. Golden Abyss impressive for a portable game but limited in scope. Not played Lost Legacy yet.

4 is by far the best UC game. I've played them all a few times each. I also came to the original trilogy late when 4 was coming out so I didn't have any rose tinted glasses about any of the old ones and just played them all together. 2 is great but it's nothing on 4. I'm sure anyone saying 2 is the pinnacle played 2 at its original release.

Edit: and yes what derb said, play them all as by far the best thing about these games are the characters.

You can finish Uncharted 1 in a matter of hours, even on Normal so it's hardly a slog.

You won't be taking weeks to finish any of them, they are all worth a shot at least once.

If the thing you like the most about UC are the characters, then you should skip 3. You'll want to punch everyone in the face, and there are too many "wtf is this guy doing?" moments to count. I still don't know what Naughty Dog were thinking, or how it received such great reviews at the time.

UC1 was okay, I guess the characters and story are the only things that truly save it. UC2 is great, as others said, although I fear that its setpieces may not look so impressive today after being aped by a million other games. Kinda like playing Half-Life today and not understanding what the big deal was.

I think playing half life 2 now it still stands out above most games.

Re uc3: it was a different team at naughty dog as the dream team went from uc2 to tlou to uc4 to tlou 2. The UC3 team made lost legacy.

God, the amount of enemies they threw at you near the end was fucking ridiculous in UC2 and that last boss can fucking do one.

Looking forward to trying Dirt Rally 2. I can sell my physical copy of UC4 now ;)

Lost Legacy was one of, if not the best Uncharted.

Lost Legacy is £9 on PSN currently, so if youíve grabbed the remasters previously and 4 this month you can have the whole set to play through for next to nothing.

Replayed the first (ps4 collection) a couple of months ago. Time has not been kind at all, actually found it to be poor and as for playing anything over "normal" no thanks, the enemies are notoriously known to be massive bullet sponges.

As for 4, great game and the mp modes are mostly great fun.
