Registered 12 years agoHa, definitely. I'm loving the online multiplayer tbh. There's absolutely no pretence of people playing in the true spirit of racing so it's not as frustrating being twatted into a barrier and having to try and fight back as everyone seems to get their share of carnage in a race. It's kinda the perfect online racing game in a way. -

Yeah - I enjoy a 20 lap race on Hillside Oval whilst I'm in a Limo and the rest are Supervans - set all difficulties to the max and you get a fair bit of lolly, too.

Very much enjoying the new Rattlesnake track too; that, the Tribend Wild and the aforementioned Oval are my faves. -

Registered 12 years agoIt has some really decent tracks. I've been a bit surprised at the quality of them to be honest. Really decent little racer. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm someone who really wants a long single player career mode, Driveclub being one of the best examples I know of. Doesn't seem like Wreckfests is terribly long and I'm not that interested in online lobbies with people screaming as has happened to me the two times I tried. Its cool though. -

Try Project Cars 3, sadly underrated racer that got so much bad press due to its name. Best on PS5 where FPS is most stable, its often in a sale and it’s worth picking up deluxe version that expands campaign too, Great with a controller,

After you’ve completed the campaign, there are daily new single player races in the tournaments.
And you’ve got the ability to build your own single player races with any settings.
They regularly add new tracks too, so there’s always new single player stuff to do. -

Yeah it’s definitely much closer to DriveClub in style/gameplay than Project Cars. Some of the ex-DriveClub team were involved with it too.

Registered 17 years agoI wouldn't really say it's like DC, personally, I guess other than it not being as hardcore sim as PC was - it's definitely got a flavour of arcade feel, in a good way. I guess the variety of race types is similar, though nothing is quite as arcade as DC and it's pretty much all track racing.
It's more classic GT (campaign structure) crossed with NFS Shift (perfect corners, etc). It's very good though, I like it a lot. -

In terms of DC similarity I think it’s more the objectives per race, the handling with a controller (tuned by DC team) and the way you can play different parts of the campaign as you wish (spending in game credits).
Here’s me in an Alpine (great little car) trying for a 56 second average across 3 laps, which was the objective for this event. PS5 with controller.

Registered 9 months agoI really like PC3. Definitely feels like a blend between DriveClub, nfs shift and project gotham. Yes purists won't like the departure from sim like to arcade, but i like both styles, and PC3 is a lot of fun. -

Registered 10 years agoPC3 is probably the one you're after if you want career and depth, the cars handle well, even on ps4 or ps5 pads. It also has regular 'Rivals' daily, weekly and monthly events, which is good. -

Registered 11 years agoProbably have already but are you clicking on the price? A lot of the games I have on plus often show prices now until I click on it and it then I get a drop down for the plus option especially when it's on sale. Used to just say download for me before. -
In the app it's showing as "Included in EA Play" and with a price. When I click on add to basket it tells me to pay. So something is broken there, or they took it off early.
