Oh ok, it was in response to this:

My point (with the post you quoted) was that the mention of sexual activity in the prosecution's submissions doesn't mean Italy is now guilty of practising Sharia law.

Even without the character 'evidence' against Knox -, sexual activity, - she had a lot going for her being involved.
Yeah, she did it.
Fuck me, when did Italy implement Sharia law? -

Ah. I thought you meant Knox was guilty of Sharia Law.
Which if you think about it would be a pretty odd thing to say. -
Yeah I should have at least quoted what I was responding to tbh. -

Sorry for being an arse. -

Don't really know a great deal about the case to say for sure, but regardless of whether she did it or not it didn't seem like a safe conviction to me. She may well have committed the crime, but the evidence wasn't really there from what I know. -
Good to see the Knox family not jumping up and down like loons but just shaking hands with muted congratulations. -
Surprised they weren't doing cartwheels..
Oh, wait, that was their daughter after she was arrested wasn't it

I'd gotten so used to the idea that they were guilty I don't know what to think.
That said, the case is so high profile, and the evidence seems so washy... maybe Knox killed Michael Jackson? -

Registered 20 years agoGood grief, I wasn't expecting that at all. The Italian authorities and media seemed so determined to have her guilty I didn't think she stood a chance. -

Why did they say this then, lovely and honest people of the Daily Mail? Seem totally legit. -

Registered 11 years agoI'm guessing they said that at some point during this appeal, so it isn't technically untrue. -

Registered 16 years agoI suppose you're right, they would've appealed it. There are other bits of the article that are less debatable but I can't copy paste anymore as it seem to have been taken down. -

Or the US just waived a few years debt repayments for Italy in exchange
/tinfoil hat
In all honesty though, she will be tarred by this for life, a la OJ. Just as well she's got a great PR team working for her already I guess. -

It's interesting to consider the role of the media in this I think. Apparently there is no contempt of court law and no restriction on reporting. Despite that, the court decided against what the public opinion seemed to be. I don't know if I have a point here, but I think it's kind of interesting. -

Here's some good ones:
Following the verdict Knox and Sollecito were taken out of court escorted by prison guards and into a waiting van which took her back to her cell at Capanne jail near Perugia and him to Terni jail, 60 miles away. Both will be put on a suicide watch for the next few days as psychological assessments are made on each of them but this is usual practice for long term prisoners.
Prosecutors were delighted with the verdict and said that 'justice has been done' although they said on a 'human factor it was sad two young people would be spending years in jail'.
Wahey! -
The next step is that the prosecution can appeal this verdict at the Italian Supreme Court if they wish. However, no-one has ever been extradicted from the US to Italy ever though, apparently.
I've always thought that the idea that 4 students would get so involved in some sort of 'sex game' that three of them hold down their friend and slit her throat because she wasn't into it a little hard to believe to be honest. But, who knows? -

I hope someone got a screen cap of that. -
So basically the Daily Fail had an article all typed up; in their infinite wisdom they assumed the convictions would stand.
To go ahead and publish that is beyond belief. They're an absolute juke and I mean that - this is glol territory.
