If only Daniel Craig had been Bond back in the N64 days, it only would have taken about three polygons to render his face.

I think it looks good, could be fun in multi if other characters have special abilities like Oddjob's hat-throwing too.

I thought Perfect Dark on XBLA looked shit. Yet people on here swooned.

At least this is the wii and to be expected though. I'll be getting it if it's cheap.

I am still not totally sold on this but I gotta say the "reveal" at the Ninty press conference with the "Hardcore gamers" swooning and peeing their pants in the marketing room was horribly cringeworthy.

I got nothing against the graphics, I think it looks pretty good. Its just the game itself that I cant get excited about. Same for PD XBLA.

Again its probably just me but I dont think FPSs from that era have aged that well. Console FPSs anyway.

It's hard to see this being anything other than distinctly average, but I'll be curious to see how the split-screen multiplayer plays out with each person pointing the Wiimote at a quarter of the screen. Having said that, it is astonishing that no one has managed a properly good FPS on the Wii. Metroid Prime 3 was probably as close as we've got.

My impresssion is that this will be a full game, and that while it has nods to the N64 game it isn't actually a remake in the Perfect Dark vein. Given the developer you should probably be expecting James Bond Nightfire quality.

Kinda seems even more pointless than a straight remake with slightly better graphics. I mean they're doomed to fail in comparison really. Also the Daniel Craig thing makes it even more stupid.

Having said that it looked quite like a straight remake to me

Sorry Geoff, I notice that this double thread business came up before. I've even posted in both threads, apparently. Hopefully a mod can merge the threads or something.

For anyone that doesn't know, you can play this game with any controller set up apparenlty. Wii remote & nunchuck, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro or GameCube pad. Apparently a lot of the multiplayer footage from E3 and such was played without the Wii remote.
