Just watched the bridge building gameplay, incredible stuff, exactly my cup of tea. Adventuring, exploring, incredible vistas, seems to be the perfect antithesis to a lot of the problems with modern gaming. Gives me of the sense of awe, scale and atmosphere that so few games execute well, Shadow of the Colossus being one of the closest comparable examples.

Playstation Plus members who were amongst the first to buy Flower (apparently)

To be fair though, it'd be better to go in fresh but for the keen ones, they get to iron the bugs out for us before we grab it

I got my US beta invite after sending a nice (and genuine) mail to thatgamecompany and got my invite within 24hrs. Funny but not had a glitch/lock up or anything yet. Played through 4 times and had a great muliplayer session this evening. Feels almost birdlike at times. Still hss the melancholy vs joy of Flower though more austere and enigmatic. Day one for me. TGC are creating something special.

System crashes and no analogue camera control�It seems SCEE decided to put up the original version of the beta and not the latest version live in the US�clever�

From my short play time it is amazing, dont mind the motion control camera either.
The crashes have an upside too, getting up to turn off the console revealed just how great the image quality is. Other than slightly rough edges on the character it looked like painted concept art. Every frame is beautiful.

I had crashes and lockups when I downloaded it at 4 ish, but later that evening I was greeted with patch 1.02 and had no issues for the whole evening after that. Played through the beta levels 3 times and enjoyed every single second of it.

It's gorgeous.

Had a go on the beta myself yesterday at work, no issues for us and it looks absolutely amazing. Only played a few minutes as I want to wait until the full release. It's definitely an insta-buy though.

Lovely game. Reminded me of the feeling of wanting to explore I got with Zelda: Ocarina of Time when you discover Hyrule Field for the first time...
