Well, once the Police numbers are cut in the budget i hope they won't have time for such trivialities as they'll be chasing proper criminals. I'm naive me, they'll go for the 'easy wins' in order to hit quotas won't they? Arses.

I like how angry he is that he manages to include two smileys.

I was expecting something more along the lines of some hilarious Police Academy-style shenanigans, like the guy who does all them funny voices and that.

    Disappointed.

So the story is 'douche-bag blogger fails to comply with police instructions'?

    Oh, just fucking behave.
  • Deleted user 30 June 2010 11:58:44
The police should just have said 'we're not allowing you to stay here and take photographs, because you're an annoying, whiney little git and we don't like you'. Everyone else would have agreed, and there'd be no story.

He also mentions back pain a few times to lay the ground work for a nice lawsuit.

Err... since when were people required to comply with police instructions?
Since people started falling down stairs in their company.

No, this is "police don't understand legal process or law and decide to start throwing their weight around".

Or did you have problems reaching the end of the article?

"Oh crikey - officer, did you just push me down the stairs?"

Yes - I'm sure that'll really hold up in court as 'proof' of being pushed down the stairs.

I would have applauded if they'd managed to push him/her (what kind of voice IS that?) down an escalator - and then again when he/she reached the top - and then again - and again.

being a whiny douche should be punishable by a slap however the police really should have better things to do than hassle photographers and make up powers

They do. It's just that proper policing requires effort and confronting 'bad people' not photographers.

Theres lots of 'putting hands on lenses' and mention of kids in that video. All sounds very paedophilic to me. They should all have their hands cut off. That'll learn 'em. Also, is the photographer a man, woman or pre-pubescent child? I can't quite tell from the whining.

He's a blogger. They all sound like that.
