It was on at 4am I suppose. I saw the end of the Scotland Australia game and the highlights of England this morning.

I think I've probably watched more of these games than any other human on the planet, and I've still only seen around half of the coverage so far. Commonwealth Games are usually entertaining enough, I was disappointed that some of the English cyclists pulled out because it allowed Australia to clean up. I guess it was too much to ask for Usain Bolt to turn up too.

Nice 1-3 for Wales in the 400m hurdles. Cycling road race was pretty good earlier apart from the terrible commentary.

Anyone watching the India vs England hockey match? Thrilling stuff.

England's hockey team managed to lose the bronze playoff against NZ in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw, again. preobably pretty disapoointing for them since this was a team they beat 5-2 earlier on I think.

I never thought I'd say this, but the netball between Aus and NZ final was incredible, one of the most thrilling finishes to any game of sport I've ever seen. It was level after extra time, both sides having chances to win it, then it went to sudden death where a team has to go two goals clear. Again, both sides could have won it, there were players falling over injured all over the place but carrying on, and eventually NZ won out. At least England won the bronze in the playoff here unlike the hockey.
