If anyone still hasn't caught the first series, it's being repeated on BBC1 right now ;)

    Watch it!!!
  • Deleted user 20 July 2011 20:41:19
I was sure there was more than three episodes though, yet it states 1/3.

Nah only 3 unfortunately. Great series though. Just stuck it on now. Watching with the missus.

I loved it*. Can't wait for a new one. Which can't be too far away if they're repeating this now.

(*apart from the last episode where I felt one of the characters (won't spoilt it by saying who) was badly cast)

I think the new series is due in the autumn. In fact they might even be filming now as production on the Hobbit (Freeman playing Bilbo and Cumberbatch voicing Smaug/Necromancer) is currently on a break.

I believe the last bit of filming for series 2 is in progress now. According to Mark Gatiss' Twitter feed.

Good stuff. Looking forward to it.

I rarely watch TV, it just doesn't engage me, so for me to be actually looking forward to a new series of something is very rare.

Seeing that the repeats have been on recently, just got round to watching episodes 2 and 3 on Sky Player. Very good stuff.

Not surprising this seemed different, it was essentially 3 films..

    Oh dear.

Would Moriarty walk right up to Watson if there was any danger that Watson would do something nutty to make his bombs go off? That jacket isn't 'armed'.

Nope its 2012, but should be worth waiting for...

    "The Hounds of Baskerville"
    "The Reichenbach Fall"

    Series 2 Teaser

You'd thought George would have figured out who leaves muddy paw prints on the lino by now.

George is a dickhead and it's obvious it'll be him who's a Hound.

I watched a really shit Asylum Pictures Sherlock Holmes yesterday, which featured an actor who was the double of Rob Newman as Holmes, Ianto from Torchwood looking a bit tubby and a boat captain who - when I first saw him - I thought was Gatiss. It wasn't but it makes me wonder if they cast that actor based on that.

Oddly, it seems to have some pretty good reviews! For an Asylum picture, at least.

Maybe as a non-Holmes movie it might work but if you've ever seen even one Holmes movie/TV episode, read a story or even know who the fuck he is, you'll see it's an utter bag of shit.

By "2012" I did not think they meant the 1st of January.

    Good stuff.

The new trailers are interesting. I wonder if the three word titles are some sort of puzzle?

Can't wait, one of the best things the BBC has come up with in years.

As for the teasers, I think this evening they spoiled those words as anagrams of "Sherlock Returns".

Reminder that Sherlock is on later tonight (or tomorrow - depending on where you are) ;)

    Happy new year!
