    No doubt True Blood is awesome but it's basically just a trashy soap opera.

    yeah, that is true, but I find it (DH) entertaining and actually quite funny. Although, I just thought I need to add to those two, eastenders (impossible to defend) and glee (it is sometimes very good, i swear)

    o_0 and to think I've always considered myself to have good taste.

    Any reality show based on cooking will likely draw me in. I also like a good gardening programme although I've never had a garden. Of all the stuff I watch, I think it's the UFC-related programmes that I tend to avoid mentioning unless someone else brings it up.

    True. But, the premise, writing and polish elevate it beyond mere tack and I certainly wouldn't consider it a candidate for 'guilty pleasure'.

    There are also a lot of people who think:

    * It's tasteless ultra-violence (who have mostly never even seen it).
    * It's just the WWE in different costumes.
    * It's super-gay.

    Also, to be honest, I've ended up regretting mentioning that I watch it even when the other person has turned out to be a fan. A lot of UFC fans are twats.

    Well I'm not a fan of it myself but have seen one or two fights and I don't think it's any of those things fwiw.

    Ah right, so you're basically knackered either way if you mention it?

    Jeremy Kyle is worse than any Chav scum he has on his show. What a monumental cunt.

    All the people on it volunteer, they're not forced and they know what they're likely to experience. I think being humiliated on national telly is likely to give at least some of them a good boot up the arse, which they thoroughly need. I also find that generally Jeremy is nice to nice people and not so nice to not so nice people, which I don't really see a problem with.

    :o you leave Glee out of this!! :(

    ..I do watch Jeremy Kyle from time to time, but I find myself hating the actual man...he acts like he's god of the chavs and sometimes just forces through his wrongness, and because everyone in the audience will cheer him for even the silliest thing his ridiculousness is never challenged.
    I think it would be really good to have some kind of super clever sacha baron cohen style person go on there and bluff him into making a fool out himself.

    They should rename it "Jeremy Kyle Shouts at the Underprivileged".

    Big meets bigger in which 20 stone english people meet 40 stone people from some far flung regions of the globe and often tell them off for being fat. Surprisingly poignant as they often then turn there lives around.
