Reading SMS's outside of a phone?

I'm about to swap phones. This naturally means I'm going to lose everything on my old phone when I get rid of it. However, my old phone (SE C905) allows me to save my SMS's onto the memory card, and there's a lot of SMS's I'd rather keep.

However, once I put them on the memory card (And ultimately onto the laptop) how can I read/access them without the phone? Is there a program that will read them, or even better, is there *anyway* to get them onto my new phone? (iPhone 4)

    There's this Lutz: http://www.tansee.com/iphonetransfersms.html

I haven't used it personally, but a friend recommended it after I read your post. I think there's a free version available.

Failing that, let me know how you get one with this: http://menoob.com/iphone/how-to-save-and-read-your-iphone-text-messages-on-your-computer/

Cheers MiniAmin. I'll give that a go when my phone gets here.

Hang on... I need to read the messages from the SE, not the iPhone!

EDIT: Oh, hang on, that just sends it to Android.

    Uh.

    Dunno then.

Why would you want to save SMS's? Are they... naughty?

    Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6.011.00

This will allow you to back them up. You have to have the USB cable or have a computer with bluetooth though.
