Is it not all a puzzle? -

Registered 17 years agoIf you can't find the solution to the puzzle from the perspective from the panel itself it's not there. So wander until you find the solution or a new puzzle. -

Registered 8 years agoStarted this today. Nice and pleasant so far. Havnt done much but just been pottering around in the orchard and boat house.
Also the save screenshot function via share play may come in handy (snapped the bunker map thing) -

Registered 15 years agoJust beat Endgame. It's 5am. I think my mind snapped there at the middle level of the final puzzle area. Seriously. Must, sleep. Challenge trophy can wait for another day, or maybe another week/month. -

Registered 8 years agoI'm liking this, I think just for the fact you feel like you are chipping away at something. Starting to open up a bit though and it is like where do I go next! -

Registered 18 years ago@Telepathic.Geometry once you've beaten the endgame is it possible to go back and mop up the remaining puzzles? And whatever this challenge is that you mention? -

Registered 15 years agoYeah. i had to start a new game, but then it let me load my last save just befoore the ending -
Sat in the pub earlier with my girlfriend and mate and figured out a solution to a puzzle in my head that's been bothering me for ages.. just firing up Steam now.
Fair enough that you don't have time, but that is the game. If you're not spending time on the looking-at-things-right puzzles then you'll be spending time on the other kinds of puzzles that can be equally as.. puzzling. Leave it and come back to it if you feel the urge or have the time. -

Registered 18 years agoYeah, while I'm sure it is possible to dive in for 20 minute this does rather seem suited to longer sittings. I've found myself wondering how it's 1AM on a number of occasions where I'm on a roll and don't want to stop.
337 +49 and 8 LAZORS right now. Only found two vids and half a dozen audio logs though, so plenty still to discover. -
The Challenge is bloody hard. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm doing the challenge right now. Can someone who is doing it or has finished it just tell me this: Do I need to complete every single puzzle down here? There seems to be tonnes of them... -

Registered 12 years agoI'm absolutely loving this but embarrassingly my 7 year old son figured out a puzzle I was stuck on in front of the whole family. I should be proud of him..... But I'm just annoyed! -

Registered 12 years agoIs there anything that tells you how many audio logs you have etc? I just see panels completed. -

Registered 15 years agoFuck this shit. I just had a puzzle in the challenge stage that was actually impossible. I don't mean that it was very difficult, I mean that it was in fact undoable. It was a simple black square white square separation one (which I love by the way), but one of the white blocks was surrounded on all 4 sides by black ones. Making it impossible. Has anyone else had this on challenge mode?
If anyone dares defy my reasoning, I have a screenshot to prove it. Fuck, I was on a good run too... /pissed off -

Registered 17 years agoYeah, it's intentional and part of the puzzle. That's part of what makes the Challenge difficult.

Registered 8 years agoI've dug down pretty deep into the sun temple. Got to the heart of it ( or at least i think so, you can sort of see the access lift above ground en route. There a puzzle there i can't do yet i think, got me stumped, so left that one for the time being.
Just had a little roam, and doing the maze ones.. one on the boat yard side has got me completely lost, so just gong to try the other route.
Loving the game though.

Registered 16 years agoI'm stuck.
I was in the bamboo forest, with the birds chirping, and I hit a switch that has raised part of the forest floor so I can't go back the way I came.
That left me with just two puzzles accessible. One is the back gate to a monastery looking place, and the other looks like a gate to an underground section. I (eventually) figured out the back gate to the monastery, which got me into a little zen garden and another gate, but this time there's no puzzle panel so I can't open it.
That leaves me with the gate that goes underground that I can't for the life of me figure out. IT looks like it should be easy, a black square on the left, and a white one on the right, with a hexagon I have to go through in the centre, but i can't open it.
It's pissing me off now.

Registered 17 years agoThere's a very specific solution to it that you won't figure out just by standing in front of it. You first encounter this type of puzzle in the temple area, which it sounds like you haven't done yet. -

Registered 16 years agoI haven't, I don't think. If the "temple" is the monastery looking thing. But I can't go backwards - the forest floor raised, so this is the only puzzle panel available to me. -
