Once queued I think you can download them via MediaGo.
I got six games all in all, but I don't have a big enough memory card for the PSP titles. Ah well. -

Registered 16 years agoIndeed you can, as long as they've been "bought" you can download them in MediaGo from your "View Download" list easy enough. Seemed to go reasonably fast too
-
Oh the four PS3 titles I chose are downloaded and installed. I only have a 1Gb pro duo memory card so I can't download either of the PSP games I chose. No big deal, I have them downloaded on my PS3 should I one day get a bigger memory card but I'm not going to go out and buy a new one just for this. -

Final Fantasy wasn't that bad; I downloaded the Resident Evil Degeneration film but don't expect much from it.

I think that's one of the offers extended only for PS+ users who signed up before the outage, if it's still going. I may be wrong. -

Registered 17 years agoHey everyone,
I didn't want to start a new thread as there's loads already on the subject, but are the 5 PS3 games you can download 2 of still available or has the offer passed now? I'm a bit late to the party on this sadly. -
No they should still be available. It's a 30 day offer IIRC. -

from the 2-3rd of june. you can find the offers through the account management section on the XMB. there's a post somewhere. -

Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”

Registered 17 years agoI like the automatic download feature of PSN+ as I've twice turned my PS3 on to be told three or four patches have downloaded. I enabled it as soon as I got the Welcome Back package and set the downloads for 6-8am (which IMO is the best and quickest time to download stuff from PSN). The first time it downloaded the new 3.65 firmware as well so it was just a matter of waiting 2-3 minutes for it to install.
A very useful and neat feature to have but it sucks that you have to pay £40 per annum to use it; it really should be a standard XMB feature available to everyone IMO. I know I'll miss it when mu PSN+ subscription expires next month. -

Registered 17 years agoI downloaded inFamous and Dead Nation as the freebie games.
I already had inFamous on disc anyway but, bizarrely, the download version won't use the disc versions savegames as I expected (I was hoping to continue the game without the need for the disc). In fact I now have two save folders, one for the disc version and the other for the downloaded one.
Dead Nation surprised me as I didn't expect it to be much good - I'm sure I'd read some less than complimentary reviews of it - but it turned out to be fun to play and not bad looking either. Definitely worth the zero pence asking price!
