A nice variation : if someone has a separate flat screen monitor on an arm above their desk, flip the screen upside down as noted by local, and then turn the screen through 180 degrees too. Nothing's noticably wrong (because the 'picture' is still the right way up) until they go to hit the power button or suchlike on the screen at the end of the day, and it's not where they were expecting it to be... |

I have just learned that pressing ctrl+alt+ an arrow key rotates the screen display in that direction.
This will end badly for my IT-illiterate colleagues. There may even be tears.

House centipede - can bite (with modified legs!), which can hurt humans (similar to other insect stings). If you can stand them, will prey on other beasties effectively.

Millipede - if they are in the house, put them in some leaf litter outside. Can't hurt you at all (unless they are the kind that can do this). UK millipedes just roll into a cute little whirl - like a pastry! - if you scare them.
I love millipedes and would like to meet their Queen. -

I was going to post a Mormon fact too.
Mormons wear special undergarments!
Recently gained a Mormon church in Utah as a client so I've been interested in all things Mormon for a week or so. Today I learned that they think native Americans are descended from jews from around the same time as Jesus popped over to the states for a quick visit. Also, that there are a tribe of people that live on the moon. Though they deny that one pretty vigorously since the whole, we've actually been to the moon, thing. -

Have you seen the South Park episode on Mormons?
I was going to post a Mormon fact too.

Based on real-life Mormon events, and with a real ex-Mormon's Mormon voice.
I think it's pretty fucking awesome. -

Never knew you could do that although as I accidentally did it I fully expected it to work like that as it just seemed like it'd make sense. -

True about Minority Report but not Die Hard. Die Hard was supposed to be a sequel to the Frank Sinatra film the Detective (the book Die Hard is based on is the second in that series).

I laughed. -
Die Hard 2 was supposed to be the Commando sequel - some stuff is left-over from it, like the fictional country and whatnot. Die Hard 3 was originally supposed to be Lethal Weapon 4. Die Hard 4 was supposed to be a stand-alone film, but then got rewritten. -

Registered 14 years agoYou mean Wikipedia is innacurate?
I've never heard such a thing.
A sequel was written by De Souza and Frank Darabont, based on the 1979 book Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorp (which is, itself, a sequel to his 1966 novel The Detective, made into a film of the same name in 1968 featuring Frank Sinatra and Lee Remick), but Schwarzenegger was not interested in making a sequel as his previous sequel (Conan the Destroyer) was less successful critically and did not do as well domestically at the box office. The script was reworked with a new central character, eventually played by Bruce Willis, and was retitled Die Hard.[5] The fictitious country of Val Verde is later nodded to in the sequel to Die Hard.
IMDB claim the same thing to be fair along with the fact Sylvester Stallone, Burt Reynolds, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Richard Gere all turned the role down before Willis got on board.

You can probably find people willing to argue the toss over any of them, but it doesn't matter. -
