Registered 14 years agoIt really sickens me how the government can treat the armed forces the way they do and generally be so utterly incompetent in every respect whether it be procurement, deciding what to cut, etc. I could certainly never do what you do, and one of the many reasons why would be that having the Taliban as an enemy is bad enough without having your own government act like an enemy too.

Registered 17 years agoHello! I'm home. Thanks for your support guys and girls. I haven't posted anything significant in this thread for quite some time as by the time I had access to the Internet again I was sick of the whole thing.
I don't want to say anything further on here about my time away. There are too many dead men and too many men missing body parts. I can't explain how I feel about it very articulately and it's a cliche but if you weren't there you'd never understand what it's like.
I have 2 questions.
1. Can I buy final fantasy tactics iPhone yet?
2. Is the piss up still on in London in April?
