Good episode that. Alan really can't handle his drink at all. He wasn't far off ordering a Ladyboy.

Are all the returning guests an attempt to establish a Partridge Cinematic Universe?

Enjoyed that, somewhat jarring having "Jason Cresswell" as SAS man, obviously North Norfolk Digital has a new boss. ;)

Surely Partridge has long reached the point where any actor just says yes if there are asked. He's a national treasure. They've actually been very restrained in casting less well known people.

Having said that, I'd love to see Simon Pegg reprise his role as 'the milky bar kid' if we're doing character catch ups.

Absolutely loved that episode. Best of series 2 by far, and up there with Alanís spanking techniques and hand washing from series 1.

Thought last night's episode was the best so far in the series. Especially that scene at the end with the relationship advice roleplay. Fucking pissed myself.

""Mmmm something smells good?...I wasn't talking about the cooking"

It was the first one of the series that was genuinely great. It would have been better without the final "that's a Queen song" though, you wouldn't have got that on BBC2.

They just have just ended with "under pressure" and the bing! sound rather than spelling the joke out for the prime time simpletons. Was a bit too obvious / petrolly

The thing is though, Alan would definitely point it out...

Alan on drugs was classic .

Is there a better British comedy than this show in the last 5/10 years?

Phoneshop is up there but it's been 8 years.
There should be a new series/film.

@mothercruncher @richardiox Thanks for the recommendations.

I watch the first episode of them comedies and they are funny

I can relate to People Just Do Nothing, I don't do much and well the local rappers but that pigeon scene was good so thanks again.
