@Youthist i will try that also thanks.

I still need to finish wild at heart which from what i have watched so far shows cage can play insane back then ,I always thought of him as chers toy boy from back then.

this is the problem for only looking for the popular stuff you miss the gems.

Alan’s accidental Savile and accidental Nazi salute were perfect.

Sidekick Simon is so brilliantly uncomfortable, it's amazing.

There should be a new series/film.
Feels like it's much older than that. But yeah, it really is brilliant and probably quite under appreciated.

@Kay I have watch that show too many times but part of the reason it's so funny is we all probably know people like that.

Tim Key is brilliant point blank.
All Bar Luke on Radio 4 was a work of genius.

Yep - absolute cracker of a series. Probably best Uk comedy in years.

Pains me to say but other than one or two episodes(I thought ep 1 was excellent) I think this has been my least favourite AP project. I think the first series is vastly superior. Something seems off!

Anticipation and rose tinted glasses can ruin things for me as well. So I try and keep things in perspective.
Partridge has long been turning into a slightly off characiture of himself, but I'm quite enjoying this one.
Really like Jenny and the supporting characters.
In fact I can't take my eyes of Jenny.

Stuff like his accidental Jimmy Saville impression are what makes it for me.

The low points like the sections with the correspondent who hates him and some of the ott reports are often full misses.

I did enjoy the Women in WWII bit including the camera angles when in discussion with RogerThat !? and Elena.

"Without women, the Second world war would have been slightly harder to win" 😃😂
... "Heavy frost this morning" ...

I've enjoyed all the episodes so far. Granted, it's not quite as good as earlier stuff, but that would be difficult to beat anyway as it was so good.

Some of the scenes have had me in stitches and then some of it just not funny. The only funny bit with the woman who disagrees with him all the time was this week when he swapped his and Jennys responses round.

I've kept them all on my sky box and will rewatch them in few months. I always find that Partridge is better with a second watch. However, I doubt its ever going to reach the heights of Alan living in a Travelodge complaining that Sue Cook has pulled out or putting his foot on a spike.

Partridge is getting quite unbearably bitter and cynical in his ‘success’ at being back on TV. The Gibbons writing is really smart and Coogan’s performance is pretty amazing, but I do feel it’s lacking a bit of humanity compared to the best bits of ‘’I’m Alan Partridge’.

Hoping that he has a big fall from grace at the end of this and the next series / project is an observational thing rather than him ‘presenting’.

I spat out my drink at the start of the SAS scene when he slipped right at the end of his introduction. Perfect.

Yes, the Royal interview tonight. This could really propel Alan into the big leagues.

I was assuming it'll be Princess Anne in the same way it was Roger Moore on his ill-fated chat show.

..or maybe, whilst booking it Lynne misheard "Prince Andrew" as "Prince Anne..drew a picture.." but then she'd also have had to mishear the "Princess" bit as "Prince" and...oh fuck this.

Best episode of the series for me, loved it, also "they won't let me back in the BBC" prophetic words ?
