I just bought it from Amazon.

Is that the cheapest this can be found in the UK? :(

It's about £25 including postage from Planet Axel.

EDIT: Or £26 from this ebay seller.

Cheers, videogamesplus have it for £25, but I'm not sure how much they charge for delivery. Can't trust ebay for DS games, so I'll go with Planet Axel.

Unless someone has a copy they'd like to get rid of? :)

VG+ shipping to the UK is £4.81 on the current exchange rate.

I'd go for them- have used them nearly a dozen times, they are reliable, answer email, and don't send fake or secondhand copies.

Just FYI, xbiteworld (the ebay seller) don't sell any Nintondo stuff. I got my copy from there last year.

Out of the room and met up with the gang.
In the words of Mal Reynolds - 'Morbidly creepifying'.

    Loving it so far!

Well I'm liking the puzzling bits, but they're few and far between.
Awful lot of reading for a videogame. Not sure I'm going to be able to plough through this six times.

You can skip the text (well, fast forward it) on your next playthrough (only on the stuff you've seen obviously, if the text is new then it won't let you fast forward it)

I played through six times in a row, absolutely loved every second of it. Haven't played anything quite like it.

    Cool. That'll help.
I need to take notes on what I'm doing, so I can make sure I do somethign different on the next runthrough.

    There's six endings, yes?

Yeah mate there are. To be honest, I used a guide eventually in terms of making sure I took the correct paths to get the endings I hadn't seen!

Well. Finally got to my first ending (I've only been playing for about 20 mins at a time, so it's taken a while).

Person or persons unknown just stabbed me, and I died in a pool of my own blood.
This, the game informs me, was the Bad End.

    No shit!

I've now got a couple of extra options - the 'Restart with memories' I'm assuming, is start the game from scratch with the option of FF'ing through the scenes I've seen before.

The other one though - 'Memories of something or other', just seems to be a collection of the locked rooms that I've already completed. Is this just so you can play them again as standalone puzzles, or is there some point to it?

    Ta!

Chunsoft team have unveiled a new game called Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die for 3DS and Vita which looks to have some kind of connection to 999.

I am loving this. It's batshit crazy, but even so...
I'm a bit confused by the structure. For some reason I assumed it would be the same story, seen from 6 different perspectives, but given that in one ending (submarine), everybody died (or did they?), whereas in another ending, Clover killed me with an axe (that was genuinely a bit creepy), they are clearly completely different.

Knife, Axe and Submarine done, aiming for coffin now.

    Just finished my first ending:

    Junpei got killed the bastard!!

Looking forward to going back and trying some different stuff!

I've got four of the endings now (2-6), and must have played the game through at least twice as many times trying to get the last two endings. I've actually been racking my brains and making notes on which paths could potentially alter events and lead to a different outcome, but to no avail.

I wanted to do it by myself, but I'm getting a little sick of skipping all the text and repeating the same puzzles - any small hints to get endings 1 and 2?

Edit: Heh, just noticed that it's exactly a year from the last post.

A hint that might not be massively helpful if you've just finished another playthrough but if you watch the ending video where it talks about "now find the true ending", it flashes which doors you need to go through...

Getting all the ends can be a pain but I think it's worth the payoff. As andywilkie said, you need to get a specific bad ending to be able to get the good ending. I gave up myself and just used the guide on gamefaqs. Getting the true ending would take A LOT of trial and error otherwise.

I might be completely misremembering, but I think two of the endings are obtained by following exactly the same route. I'm sure I never actually got the coffin ending because it happened that it was the last sequence of doors that I tried, and I ended up with the true ending instead.

I've not had that at all - only two of "bad ending" and two of "the end... or is it?".

Pretty sure I've exhausted nearly all permutations of the doors you can go through. I'm guessing the small dialogue options don't affect the story outcome in any way?

So far I've got the submarine, knife, safe, axe endings...

    Kay,

Here's a flowchart that shows you how to get to each ending.

    @Kay

Oh yeah maybe it's only after five endings you get the little "vid", sorry.

I'll be honest, I used a FAQ to work it out in the end!

Ah, that explains it. The safe ending was the very first one I got, so no wonder I never got the coffin one. Now I know!
