Registered 16 years agoAlso: what a stupid name for an awesome sale like this. -
If we're looking at 50-60% discounts, grabbing another blu-ray player or the redesigned 360 sounds very tempting indeed. -

Although quite why they've extended it to the UK is anyone's guess. -

I don't think Amazon sell the old ones anymore, just private sellers now.

Edit: 360/Kinect bundles for less than £150? I might go for it. -
Ohh, will keep an eye on this, thanks, be interested to see if the projector I want to get has a nice reduction for it -

It'll be the same as previous massive Amazon sales. Extremely limited stock, the site will fall over as HotUKDeals spam the fuck out of it and try to place orders for a billion things to flog on ebay, virtually no-one gets what they want. -

Registered 15 years agoSurely the bargains on offer are only going to apply to f5 spammers of the hotukdeals ilk? -

Registered 15 years agoI think these will be hourly deals, as they do today. Not something that's going to last an entire week.
Not sure, but from what I've seen of Amazon, that's how they roll. -
tax rebate, what good timing..... -

Registered 14 years agoHopefully they'll put some big discounts on a few DVD box-sets I want.
Not even going to bother trying to get a cheap console/TV/BR player. They ought to limit each customer to one item per deal. -

Registered 15 years agoReally disappointed when I read what this actually was. Thought it might be one of those "Talk like a pirate day" type of affairs where everyone was gonna 'black-up' for the day

Registered 15 years agoYeah, that's usually the way it goes down. What they should do is show the deals earlier to people who have ordered... oh, I don't know * calculates * say £6000 or more with Amazon in the last two years. -

Well, you'd have to figure that the same people who are scamming the system would be the ones offered these deals early, innit? They're the ones spending that kind of freakish amount at Amazon... not the average shmoe like myself. -
