Is the Moto G7 any good? Mrs Hermit has been clinging onto her windows phone, but it needs replacing as a matter of some urgency. Amazon are selling it for Ł180 at the mo.

My brother bought those exact ones pretty much just for a long plane ride and they are genuinely OK which, I suppose at that price, makes them brilliant. If they didn't have wires on both cups, they would be perfect for kids to pair with a tablet and whatnot.

I see they also do a BT version. Probably better than the cheap no-brand Chinese BT headphones I bought, build quality is suspect but they actually don't sound too bad.

Does anyone have one of these RING doorbells? They look great, but then I look at the reviews and there's people moaning that they only get a notification on their phone about 5 minutes after the visitor/parcel guy rings the bell. Which is obviously no use. Our modem/router is about 6ft from the front door but the reviews are putting me off.

I know a couple of people that have them and say they work fine. They've also been very useful in helping to solve burglaries / vehicle thefts.

edit - yeah, i'm not one for cameras but a neat all in one doorbell that also records people walking up to the door sounds like a win-win-win to me.

Optoma 143X 1080p Projector Ł335
Decent deal for someone who would like a 1080p projector. I've had an Optoma HD65 (720p) for 13 years and it is still going strong (1 bulb change 10 years ago). I'm waiting for a 4k one but it's a year out yet for me.
