But Mark Hughes is *such* a lovely man! And too big for a mid-table club like Fulham, so in many ways perfect for Everton! |

I just spoke with him in Manchester city centre, as it goes. Lovely bloke.
A question for Manchester United supporters:
What are your thoughts on Quinton Fortune's time at the club? Did he leave much of an impression? Do you hold him in high esteem at all?
Just curious.
As a player, he never set the world alight, but he would always come in a do a job. A good player to have in your squad over the course of the seaso. -

Though he has a CV. -

Registered 15 years agoIsn't MON basically just a much less talented Mourinho? He just comes in, spends loadsamoney, blames other people, and then fucks off leaving a massive, pissed-off trail of destruction in his wake? -

Yeah. But he doesn't use words like "project" enough to be considered a top manager...

Yep. I think he was substantially shown up while managing Sunderland. I'm not sure anyone will be jumping to get him as a manager, Everton would be mad to do so.

He did turn Sunderland's slide around last season but this season his team have been woeful. Not only were they dull to watch they were also not picking up results. Not really a good combination. -

It is amazing that he can make someone like Pardew come across as normal.

I didn't mention Big Sam did I? Doubt he'd leave West Ham, but still... -

Registered 11 years agoPretty sure we'll get Baines now, but that'll be it from Everton.
We would get Fellani; Ferguson would come back form retirement, flog him and retire again.
NO midfielders. -
Really happy with the Moyes appointment, I think he will be a success. -

All through this season 'THIS FUCKING SQUAD IS FUCKING SHIT ALL OF OUR PLAYERS ARE FUCKING SHIT'
Moyes is appointed 'OH GOD HES SHIT HE WONT WIN ANYTHING THIS IS A DISASTER'
Moyes wins the league 'FFS ITS ONLY THE LEAGUE WE WON THAT LAST YEAR COS WE HAVE AN AWESOME SQUAD'
Moyes wins the Champions League 'HE ONLY MANAGED IT COS HE WAS MAN YOO MANAGER NOWT TO DO WITH HIM'
Moyes does alright in his first season but ends up trophyless 'HAHA I FUCKING CALLED IT NO TALENT MID TABLE FUCKER. RIPPING UP MY IMAGINARY SEASON TICKET'
Moyes goes through a rough patch in a tightly contested league race, the press respond 'WE ALL TOLD YOU HE WAS FUCKING SHIT LOOK HOW RIGHT WE ARE'.
Moyes wins everything it is possible to win, also wins La Liga and the World Cup "Fergie takes the credit" -

I don't know what bookies you lot use! Martinez is comfortably favourite with every single bookmaker at about 6/4, MacKay is about 20/1.
