Really love the picture there too. Must be great fun being a photo editor on the football sites. -

Ha! -
Oh noes, what will we do if Man U don't unsettle and buy our best players? They sure showed us. -

Registered 7 years agoYou'll just have to sell them for more money to Real.
Or keep them, I suppose that's always an option. -
And if we want one of their players, we can just get some foreign club to buy them cheap for us under their noses. -

Registered 12 years agoPalace were terrible but I was impressed with their fans who were loud and travelled in numbers. Feel sorry for them if they are going to be stuck watching Pulis football for the rest of the season. -

Yeah, I'm really chuffed about it. First manager we've appointed since Warnock that I've been happy with. Hopefully we give him some time. I don't know many fans who wouldn't be happy with just consolidating this year and trying to sort it out next summer.

We needed a gimme after our loss yesterday, anyplace were a guaranteed 3 pointer.
Now they're gonna wanna impress the new manager. -

Registered 16 years agoIt has occured to me that it is always annoying when a player scores a stunner against your side as you have to watch it on adverts and motd for most of the next season. The Van Persie strike is a perfect example. -

Registered 9 years agoI sometimes wonder if any of the pundits who haven't managed before would make good managers. Alan Hansen could do quite well I reckon, but he'd perhaps be too defense orientated.
Lawro would be awful.
Linekar would be good imo. -

Me too. McCoist is the only I can think of who jacked it in to have a go. Shearer doesn't count really.

Registered 12 years agoThere are quite a few pundits who have abandoned management after proving to be fucking useless. -
Ha, I'd forgotten about Merse at Walsall. Dismal. Although I guess that was my point.... There aren't many established pundits that jack it in for management. Quite a few tried managing and we're dreadful, so took the easy street. All have bills to pay I suppose.
