I say a proper league... wolves bought the league and we have just been turned over by an on loan premiership striker...

Sky reporting Chelsea to make a move for Poch when Conte leaves. I imagine that would be a very short conversation consisting of the words no thanks.

This is getting old now. Many clubs spent much more than Wolves this year. Middlesbrough and Villa to name 2. Yes Wolves spent money, but there are a lot of players from last year still in that team (Coady was one of them, and was one of the players of the season) and Ruddy was a free transfer.

Yes, the money has obviously helped but another major factor has been the new manager Nuno Santo who has completely changed the way we play.

Money spent + being a player laundering operation = bought the league

I mean, it's genius, really. You dump 20m players into a league they are too good for and suddenly they are 40m players. Hats off to them.

    It's blates a swiz.

It seems good now, but when he starts selling your top talent off you'll be less pleased.

Practically everyone is linked with Mendes at Wolves and I'm sure the majority of the players that come in during summer will be.

Read that earlier, even for his high standards that was excellent. The panel with a smiling Wenger made me laugh.

It's odd. I don't think I've ever seen his name written down. I always assumed it was Jay Lloyd rather than Jlloyd.

Seems so. Massive gamble, but fits with the structure and current budget. Can he do worse than 6th?

Arteta looking increasingly like the new Arsenal manager, but it's not confirmed yet.

    Seems reasonable to me.

I'm not quite sure what makes him a more viable candidate versus any up and coming manager with a little actual management experience.

I mean is it that important that he knows the "Arsenal way"? What is the "Arsenal way" anyway. Is it even the same as when he was at the club? Was he even there long enough to pick up what it supposedly "was" ?

It says a lot about how Wengaaah's stock has fallen that people would look at someone with NO management experience whatsoever and think "yeah fine".
